I strung this "MM" Series guitar in April of 2024. The playability is excellent and the sound of the guitar is strong and crisp with a good balance of bass, mid range and trebles. The Top is Engelmann Spruce, the sides and back are Wenge with Mahogany bindings, and the neck is laminated African Mahogany with a double acting truss rod. The "Port" in the upper bout is my signature "Fleur de Lis" design. Fingerboard and peg head overlay are Macassar Ebony with a "Art Deco Fan" design in Mother of Pearl and Abalone. Bridge is Ebony and the top and sound hole prufling is "Corral Snake" by Michael Gurian. The finish is wipe-on Watco Danish oil. The size of the instrument is very similar to a OOO Martin and the shape is similar to a "Torres" classical shape. The top is custom-braced with a bent bracing pattern that I have been developing for the past 10 years. The tuners are Gotoh chrome. The scale is 25.7" with 14 frets to the body, 22 frets overall and the nut width is 1 3/4".
